Work with сlients

Advice on what to do and what not to do with those who pay you for your services — your clients. Of course, clients can be hundreds of thousands of people or just one person, such as your boss. The core remains the same.

Good

— To believe in what you are selling. When you would not pay for your own services, clients will often sense that. I would never pay for this, but these fools will — it is a direct path to failure.

— To understand all the client's primary and secondary needs (in reality, they are all primary). Determine how you can meet these needs. For example, change your tone of communication, or send more updates about the order status.

— To find the balance in your relationship with the client. Being a very close friend is bad. Being a robot or treating the client as a statistic number is also bad.

Bad

— To dispute with clients. The customer is always right, but you always have the right to refuse to work with them.

— To pretend to be a corporation when you are a local business. When Apple treats you like a statistic number, it is because their valuation is in the trillions, and every third person is their customer. When you are a small business, focus on care and a personalized approach.

— To practice overly intrusive sales. There is a line that should not be crossed. Always consider whether you would want what you are about to do.
